Relisha Rudd

Rilya Alert!

An 8-year-old girl is missing in Southeast Washington and police are asking for the public’s help in finding her.

D.C. Police say Relisha Rudd was last seen in the 1900 block of Massachusetts Avenue SE.
...
Relisha had been staying at the D.C. General family shelter with her mother and stepfather for the past year, according to Channel 9′s Delia Gonçalves. Relisha’s stepfather says her mother — who is now hospitalized — gave Relisha to a male janitor who works at the shelter more than three weeks ago, but they haven’t seen the girl since.

Police were notified of Relisha’s disappearance Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities are looking for two vehicles possibly linked to Relisha — a black Honda Accord with D.C. tags EN2051, and a red Chevy Trailblazer with D.C. tags KAHLIL that has a large Redskins decal in the rear window.

Relisha’s stepfather says she suffers from severe migraines and may be in need of medication.

Police describe Relisha as a black female, standing 4 feet tall and weighing between 70 and 80 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a medium complexion.

Police ask anyone with information on Relisha’s whereabouts to call the Metropolitan Police Department at 202-727-9099, the Youth Investigations Division at 202-576-6768, or 911.

  1. Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart. See the link below for more info.
