Rilya Alert Rochelle Denise Battle
Baltimore County police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing teenager. Police say the last time 16-year-old Rochelle Denise Battle had contact with her family was on Friday, March 6.
Battle's disappearance was first reported to police in Baltimore City and later to county police when information showed she might have been in the county.
Investigators initially thought information might be found in a trash collection facility in the 200 block of Earls Road in Essex. A search of the area, however, turned up no information about the girl.
Police say Battle was in the area on the night of March 6 and might have taken a bus from the Eastpoint Mall area to the intersection of Eastern Boulevard and Old Eastern Avenue.
Battle is described as a black female, 5'1" to 5'3" tall, 170-190 pounds. When she was last seen, she was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and boots that came just below her knees. She was not attending school at the time of her disappearance.
Police are asking anyone with information on Battle's disappearance to call 410-307-2020.
