  1. Has any one ever tried to link this case to a little girl that was found in Saint Louis on
Feb 28, 1983, same time frame, around the same age, both cases are cold, it just makes sense to look into it.

    1. I agree. Sadly neither Sharaun's DNA, nor her fingerprint, nor her dentals have been collected/processed. I'm afraid that this may be the reason she has not been identified as the St. Louis Jane Doe and why both cases are still unsolved. Makes you wonder though, why has no one submitted DNA to help her? Surely a relative must still care enough to find her, right?

    2. My thoughts exactly. They could do a comparative DNA test against a relative to rule the possibility out that she is or is not the St Louis JD.

  2. I think that some sort of DNA testing was done on the minerals from the little girls bones, and the places that she could have been from...none of which was New York, unless she moved out of state at that time. I know Sharaun from elementary school.

  3. I am her 1st cousin and was 16 yrs old when this happened. Her dad ( my uncle) had passed away before she disappeared. She does have a half sister that possible DNA can be taken from. Her mom wasn't particularly close to our family. Not sure if DNA was collected on Sharaun back then. So much time has passed that dental records would no longer be available. NYPD will not give us any info on the case. They will only release info to her mother. I wouldn't know where to begin to locate her mom. We do not forget her nor do we stop wondering what happened. There is no closure so we hold on to hope that she is alive somewhere.

  4. By the way that age progression pic is not a good example on how she would look. She looked like her dad. She would have closely resembled her half sister. The age progression pic is darker in complexion than she would have been.
